Yoga in Leicester
Practising yoga often is what reminds me of my true inner bliss and brings me joy and calmness through movement.

My practice
I have been practising yoga since 2013 and teaching since 2018. I completed my 200-hour Teacher Training at the Sivananda Vedanta Yoga Centre in London in March 2018, and my 300-hour Advanced Teacher Training with the Heal.Feel.Lead Academy in Leinsweiler, Germany, in September 2024.
The 300-hour training covered:
- 50h Yoga therapy
- 50h Alignment and adjustment
- 50h Yin and Bhakti yoga
- 50h Storytelling and sequencing
- 50h Yoga business
- 50h Philosophy and tantra
As a mum of 2 little kids, my personal yoga routine is practising when and how I find a fairy-dust-covered slither of time — often with a toddler sitting on my downward-facing dog, crawling under my chaturanga or pushing against the standing leg of a balance. So let’s be real: my real practice is breathing and finding my calm, hope and bliss in the wild dance of motherhood.
I never had the aspiration to go to extremes and ‘achieve full expression of asanas’, even though I look very bendy. Now I practise for sanity, for recovery, for truth — and to enjoy and feel good in my practice. That is exactly what you will get from me when I teach.
